A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Dear Potential New Member, 

As you prepare to go through recruitment, my hope is that our website gives you an inside look into the generosity, belonging, and friendship that fills the Delta Zeta chapter at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. 

Growing up in Huntsville, I was unsure of what college life would be like at UAH. Being from the area I knew I needed to find my own community that drew me out of my comfort zone. With that in mind, I felt joining an organization would do just that, with high hopes of building strong friendships.

The day I accepted my bid I was immediately brought into the most empowering and gracious group of women I have ever been in.

Without my sisters, I would not have the growth in confidence, passion for my community, and sense of belonging that I once never had. Walking into the Delta Zeta house feels like I am walking into my own home, surrounded with love and laughter. Without my sisters I would not be the person I am or president of this chapter, but it’s because of how they inspire and support me that I can hold this leadership position and be where I am. 

I will always cherish the investment Delta Zeta has made in me and be ever grateful for the joy it has brought into my life. My wish is that you will continue learning about my chapter and see a glimpse of the love that I have felt these past three years.
