I am so excited and honored to serve as Delta Zeta Lambda Kappa president this year! As I have been in Delta Zeta I have found a home that truly resonates with me, serving as president to me is more than just planning socials and attending meeting. It is about fostering a community where every sister feels seen and valued. As well as seeing the impact of our philanthropic efforts, organizing fundraising events and volunteering in the community, has not only brought Delta Zeta closer as a sisterhood. But has also instilled a sense of purpose that extends beyond our chapter. When you are introduced to Delta Zeta, I hope that you look into what our sisterhood can bring you. And you find your purpose within our chapter!

I chose Delta Zeta because I was immediately welcomed by girls who treated me like family. I initially joined to make life long friendships, which I did, but I also gained so much more than that. I’ve enhanced my leadership skills, grown my social skills, and have had the opportunity to give back to my community. I’ll forever be thankful for the women and opportunities Delta Zeta has brought me. Joining Delta Zeta was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my college experience, and I know that it has given me the people who will be by my side through the rest of my life.

I chose Delta Zeta because from the beginning, I felt truly welcomed. The girls made me feel comfortable, included, and supported, which meant so much to me. I could see that Delta Zeta was more than just a sorority to join. It was a place where genuine friendships were built and where people really cared about each other. That feeling of being welcomed helped me know that DZ was where I belonged.
I also chose Delta Zeta because of the leadership opportunities it offers. Being able to serve as Vice President of New Member Education has shown me how much this chapter values growth, responsibility, and helping others. I have loved being able to guide new members and help them feel as welcomed as I did. Delta Zeta has given me a place to grow as a leader while also being part of a sisterhood that feels like home.

I chose Delta Zeta because from the moment I walked in, I felt immediately welcomed by everyone. Coming to UAH, I didn’t know many people and was honestly really nervous about putting myself out there, but Delta Zeta made that feel so much easier. I quickly realized that this was more than just a group; it was a genuine community where I could be myself. Since joining, I haven’t just gained friends, but a support system of girls who constantly encourage me and push me to grow into the best version of myself. Delta Zeta has given me opportunities I never expected, helped me grow in my confidence and leadership, and created a college experience I will always be thankful for. Being able to serve as Vice President of Programs has made my experience even more meaningful, and I am so grateful to give back to a chapter that has given me so much. I can truly say that joining Delta Zeta has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I will always be grateful for the people and memories it has brought into my life.

I chose Delta Zeta because of the community and sisterhood I witnessed before I even thought of a sorority as an option for myself. Then as soon as I started talking to girls about thinking about joining they were nothing but uplifting and welcoming. Everyday I am reassured knowing I have a community of sisters around me to offer advice, support, and anything else I could possibly need.

I joined Delta Zeta because it led me to find women who want to see me grow as an individual and gave me opportunities to help my community grow. The chapter of Delta Zeta embraced me with open arms with their compassion, integrity, and sisterhood. From the moment I first connected with these women, I felt genuinely welcomed and seen. I wanted to surround myself with girls who uplifted one another, celebrated each other's wins, and created a space where everyone felt valued. Delta Zeta became that place for me. It gave me a home where I could grow, find support, and build friendships that feel like family. Choosing Delta Zeta was choosing confidence, connection, and a sisterhood that continues to make UAH feel like home.

I chose Delta Zeta Sorority during continous bidding in my sophmore year because I wanted to meet and connect with women who share similar values and interests. I was also looking for ways to get involved on campus and gain leadership experience. Delta Zeta's focus on friendship, personal growth, and service made it clear that it was a community where I could grow, contribute, and form meaningful connections. Being part of the sorority has given me opportunties to build friendships, take on leadership roles, and engage with the campus community in ways that are meaningful to me

Choosing Delta Zeta was the easiest decision I’ve ever made! Coming into UAH, I knew I wanted to create everlasting friendships with people who truly cared for me and appreciated me for who I am! I instantly found that in Delta Zeta. I found the girls that made me feel welcome, who didn’t judge me, and supported me wholeheartedly in anything I chose to do. Delta Zeta has also given me many opportunities to grow as a leader; From serving as a co-chair for recruitment, to being a chairwoman, and now serving on the executive board, Delta Zeta has inspired me in many ways! I couldn’t be more grateful for the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had in Delta Zeta! I will never regret calling Delta Zeta my home!

I grew up always wanting to join a sorority. Hearing my mom’s stories about her days in college with her sorority sisters made me want those same kind of friendships that made her college experience so meaningful. The second I walked into the Delta Zeta house on one of the open house days, I had an immediate connection to the sorority as a whole. I did not know much about DZ as both my mom and my stepmom were in different sororities but feeling so comfortable the second I stepped into the house made me want to learn more. While every other house I went to that day felt so serious and like I could not be myself if I wanted to, I met the most wonderful girls welcoming me with their open arms to love me just how I come. I am so happy that I get to call these girls sisters now and make the same kind of memories that my mom made with her sisters.

I chose Delta Zeta because it feels like a place where I can truly be myself without any pressure to fit a certain mold. From the beginning, I felt welcomed for who I am, and that genuinely accepting environment really stood out to me. I love that the girls support each other not just in achievements, but in being authentic and real. On top of that, the leadership opportunities within Delta Zeta encourage personal growth and confidence it's the kind of community where I know I can build meaningful friendships and grow as a leader.
