RECRUITMENT

Dear Potential New Member,

I am so excited that you are considering going through recruitment at UAH! I know this process can be overwhelming and nerve-wracking at times, but joining a sorority is one of the most rewarding and fun experiences you can have in college. 

As you go through recruitment, remember to keep an open mind, be your most authentic self, and simply enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Doing this will provide you with the best opportunity to find your home away from home and join a sisterhood that will last a lifetime.

When I first began my time at UAH I did not have many friends. As a commuter, I went to class and came straight home, so I did not have as many opportunities to meet people. I went through my freshman year wishing I had more friends and connections. I decided to go through primary recruitment my sophomore year, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of my life. 

 

When I first started my recruitment experience, I was intimidated by the amount of girls I would have to meet, but once I walked into Delta Zeta all my worries were lifted. I had found the girls who made me feel so loved, comfortable, and empowered. It was such an amazing feeling to meet so many people who loved and truly cared for me. 

Looking back, joining Delta Zeta has been the best decision that I’ve made in college.

I cannot wait to meet you, and I hope that you also make these connections and find your home here at UAH.
